The Timed Exam Gauntlet
Sit the whole exam, before the exam sits you.
The Gauntlet is the closest thing here to the real thing: a full 45-question paper on the exam's own blueprint, against a 60-minute clock, drawn fresh from all 300 signed questions. Sit it as often as you like. The point is not the score on any one sitting — it is watching the same mistakes stop happening.

The scenario sims
Nine scenarios. Each one argues back.
Each sim is a role-play with a brief: you talk, the AI persona pushes back, and your side of the conversation is graded against a rubric when it ends. One per teaching module, each on the rule that module teaches.
Module 1 starts at the line. Its sim is a signer asking you for legal advice, because knowing where that line is — and declining without losing the customer — is the job. The sims teach you as a student; they never advise anyone.

You take the hours California requires from a vendor the Secretary of State has approved — six before a first commission, three at an on-time renewal — and the Launchpad is the part that prepares you for the exam. Nothing sold here supplies that credit.

Before you ask
Is this the official California six-hour course?
No — and any school that's vague about this is telling you something. The Launchpad is exam prep and career training: it does not satisfy California's education requirement and we do not sell anything that does. You take those hours from a vendor the Secretary of State has approved — six before a first commission, three at an on-time renewal — and the Launchpad is what prepares you for the exam.
Do I need any experience to start?
No. The Launchpad assumes nothing and takes you from zero to exam-ready — the state's own approved course and the exam itself are steps we do not sell. California requires you to be 18 or older.
What makes the sims different from quizzes?
Quizzes test recall. The sims test behavior — you talk with an AI persona who has a brief of its own, and you're graded on a rubric for procedure, legal compliance and composure, not on picking B.
How long until I'm earning?
The California commission process runs on the state's timeline, not ours. The Launchpad is built to get you ready for the exam; what you earn after that depends on your market and the work you take on.
Does the AI give legal advice?
Never. OT and the sims teach notary law and procedure to you as a student. Neither advises consumers, and module 1's sim tests whether you decline a legal-advice request. Knowing where the line is is the job.
