Every signer should bring a driver's license, passport, or approved-equivalent photo ID that is current or was issued within the past five years.

California caps the notarization fee at $15 per notarized signature (Cal. Gov. Code §8211). Travel is a separate charge, is not capped by statute, and we agree it with you before the notary drives — you can cancel at no charge. NotaryOT notaries are not attorneys and cannot answer legal questions about your documents.
